This powerpoint presentation was used for webinar sessions in June 2010 to introduce members of the IHTSDO Community of Practice to the IHTSDO Quality Assurance Framework, the principles behind development and early use examples use cases. Further examples will be posted as they are developed. The IHTSDO Chief Quality Officer, along with the IHTSDO Quality Assurance Committee, is available to advise on implementation and also receive feedback - jmi(at)ihtsdo.org

The IHTSDO Quality Assurance Framework, with supporting IHTSDO Quality Assurance Toolkit, has been developed by the IHTSDO Quality Assurance Committee and is now for use in supporting the development and reporting of Quality Metrics across all areas of IHTSDO activity - Organisational processes and support, Data products (terminology reference data, mappings, translations, subsets), Documentation and IHTSDO-responsible services and tooling provision. 2 templates have been developed for use at this point to assist in the capture of the quality metrics, and there are examples of their use in the toolkit document. Jane Millar, Chief Quality Officer, is available to help in application of the framework jmi(at)ihtsdo.org and to receive feedback. Webinar training sessions are being provided, with details on dates being provided through the Special Interest Group Announcement section of the IHTSDO Collaborative Space.
