European Codes for Kidney Disease Linked to SNOMED CT

The IHTSDO is pleased to have agreed a "public good" agreement with the European Renal Association-European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA). As a result of this agreement the new list of codes for kidney disorders, released by the ERA-EDTA Registry on 22 November 2012, is fully mapped to SNOMED CT. The "public good" agreement allows free use of the SNOMED CT representations these codes which is included in the files released by the ERA-EDTA.
