Development, Approval, Maintenance and Review of IHTSDO Technical Reports, Guidelines and Standards (October 27, 2009). This policy document outlines in detail the process for IHTSDO Technical reports, Guidelines and Standards – from development through to ongoing maintenance and review. The process has been approved by the General Assembly of the IHTSDO for implementation from 1^st November 2009 across all the categories of development. The process identifies clearly too the groups who should be consulted and the quality criteria for progressing through the different stages. For further information, contact jmi(at)ihtsdo.org. Policy on Alternative Sources of Funding for IHTSDO (September 16, 2009)

IHTSDO will allocate SNOMED CT Namespace Identifiers upon written request from a Member or an Affiliate in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Namespace Allocation Policy To request a Namespace Identifier, individuals/organizations should complete and submit a copy of the Namespace Identifier Application Form by email to info(at)ihtsdo.org IHTSDO has developed flow charts on how do I (Affiliate Licensee) obtain a Namespace Identifier and how do I (Member) obtain a Namespace Identifier?
